  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of M&M's.
  5. Scoop golf ball-sized portions onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and press in remaining M&M's on top.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking for optimal thickness.
  7. Bake for 10-11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain slightly soft.
  8. Allow cooling on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
