  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoons apple pie spice
  • 1 can (8-count) Pillsbury Grand biscuits (not flaky layers)
  • 1 cup apple pie filling (with apples cut into small pieces)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine sugar and apple pie spice; set aside.
  2. Separate the biscuits into two layers and flatten each into a circle about 4 inches wide (16 circles total).
  3. Mix apple pie filling with cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Place one tablespoon of the filling in the center of each biscuit circle.
  5. Fold the sides over the filling and pinch to seal, rolling gently into balls.
  6. Preheat air fryer and spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.
  7. Arrange the balls in the basket with space between them and spray tops lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Air fry at 350°F for 8-9 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Dip cooked bombs in melted butter and roll in sugar mixture to coat.
