Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients and activate yeast by mixing it with warm milk and sugar. Let sit until bubbly.
- Combine remaining liquid ingredients with the yeast mixture in a bowl.
- Mix flour and salt; add to the wet mixture and knead until soft and slightly tacky.
- Allow the dough to rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
- Roll out the dough, spread apple butter, sprinkle cinnamon-sugar filling, and roll up tightly.
- Slice into rolls, place in a greased baking pan, and let rise again.
- Bake at 350°F for about 18-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat frosting ingredients together and spread over warm rolls before serving.
