Instructions
- Peel and dice the apples.
- In one bowl, mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, whisk together wet ingredients: eggs, sugars, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures gently; fold in the diced apples.
- Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it.
- Spoon batter onto the waffle iron; cook until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).
- Cool on a wire rack and drizzle with glaze before serving.
