Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8" round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together canola oil, applesauce, egg, brown sugar, and vanilla until blended.
- Add whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 22-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
