Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl for topping.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy; add eggs one at a time and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder together.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture until just combined; fold in chopped apples.
- Pour into prepared pan, sprinkle with topping, and bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before glazing with powdered sugar mixed with milk.
