Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined. Stir in the diced apples evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet with space between each fritter.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- After cooling slightly, drizzle the glaze over the fritters and serve warm.
