Instructions

  1. Whisk together all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch in a medium bowl; set aside.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  3. Incorporate the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients on low speed until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips along with chopped dark chocolate.
  6. Chill dough for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours.
