- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in butterscotch and chocolate chips (and walnuts if desired).
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Let cool slightly and sprinkle with sea salt.
