- 2 cups pitted cherries (canned or fresh)

- 2 cups vanilla pudding
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bake the chocolate cake according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Allow it to cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In another bowl, combine pitted cherries with cherry juice.
- In your trifle dish or serving glasses, layer crumbled chocolate cake, vanilla pudding, cherry mixture, and whipped cream. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
- Finish with dark chocolate shavings on top.
