Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 8 cups water (divided)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water, and 1 cup blueberries. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and puree the mixture using an immersion blender until smooth.
- Strain the puree through a mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove solids.
- Add 6 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh blueberries and lemon slices if desired.
