- 2 Granny Smith Apples (cubed)
- 1 cup water + 1 tablespoon (divided)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
- 2 cups pretzels
- 25 caramel squares
Instructions
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Soak cubed apples in water mixed with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Melt 2 cups of chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.
- Spread melted chocolate on the prepared baking sheet and top with pretzels.
- Drain and dry apples before adding them on top of the pretzels.
- Melt caramels with water until smooth and pour over the apple layer.
- Drizzle remaining melted chocolate over everything.
- Refrigerate until set, then cut into pieces.
