Instructions

- In another bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in the diced apples gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet with space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow cooling on a wire rack before drizzling with caramel sauce.
