- 6 tablespoons light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ cup (1 stick / 113 g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1 cup (125 g) confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon whole milk
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
Instructions
- Combine warm water, granulated sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit until foamy.
- Mix half of the vegetable oil into the yeast mixture; add flour and salt to form dough.
- Let dough rise until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C); prepare pizza pan with parchment paper.
- Shape dough on the pan and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
- Brush butter-sugar mixture on crust; add cherry filling.
- Mix crumble ingredients and sprinkle over cherries.
- Bake for an additional 13-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with glaze after cooling slightly.
