  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine grated onion, ground beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, heavy cream, and egg. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into four patties about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove patties and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add flour, stirring well; then pour in chicken broth while scraping up browned bits from the skillet.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and chopped dill; allow to simmer until slightly thickened. Return patties to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5–6 minutes before serving.
