- 2 lb boneless beef shoulder or butt
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cut beef into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and black pepper. Toss beef in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread marinated beef on the baking sheet and sprinkle sugar over it.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Optional: Broil for extra char for an additional 6-8 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
