Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter for the brownie batter and mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until combined. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt; mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, cream softened butter with both sugars for the cookie dough. Add egg and vanilla, beating until light. Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, and salt; fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour brownie batter into the prepared dish and drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top. Gently press down to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are set but center remains slightly gooey. Cool completely before slicing.
