Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Cream together softened butter and brown sugar until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Press dough into prepared pan evenly.
- Bake for 22–26 minutes until golden brown; let cool on a rack before serving.
