Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
- Spread marshmallow crème evenly over the cooled cookie base.
- Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with coconut oil or butter in intervals until smooth; pour over marshmallow layer and spread evenly.
- Let set at room temperature or chill until firm before slicing into squares.
