  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter; press into the bottom of the springform pan.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes; let cool.
  4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar and vanilla.
  5. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  6. Fold melted chocolate into cream cheese mixture, then gently fold in whipped cream until well combined.
  7. Pour mousse filling over cooled crust; smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
  9. Remove from pan and dust with sifted powdered sugar and cocoa before serving.
