- 1/3 cup light brown sugar

- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 apples, peeled and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix light brown sugar and ground cinnamon; set aside.
- Cream together white sugar and butter until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
- Pour half the batter into the pan; layer with half the apples and half the cinnamon mixture. Repeat layers.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
