Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs lean ground beef
- 1 cup diced onion
- ¾ cup bread crumbs
- ⅓ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup ketchup (for the glaze)
- 1 Tbsp white vinegar (for the glaze)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf by hand or press it into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake uncovered for 40 minutes.
- While baking, mix ketchup and white vinegar in a bowl for the glaze.
- After 40 minutes, spread the glaze over the meatloaf and return it to the oven for an additional 10 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
