Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter and sear the shrimp until pink (2–3 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- Lower heat and add remaining butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Stir in heavy cream and parmesan; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce for an additional minute.
- Serve over warm rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
