- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 500g)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (100g)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (100g)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream (240ml)
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth (240ml)
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Generously season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In one bowl, combine Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. In another bowl, coat the chicken with olive oil, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken in the baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the chicken bakes, sauté minced garlic in a saucepan over medium heat until fragrant. Add heavy cream and chicken broth; stir well. Incorporate dried basil and thyme; simmer until thickened.
- Serve the baked chicken topped with creamy garlic sauce.
