- 400 g flour
- 7 g instant yeast
- 15 g granulated sugar
- 7 g salt
- 35 ml sunflower oil
- 225 ml water
- 40 g butter (for filling)
- 1 egg (for brushing)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, sunflower oil, and water until it forms a rough dough. Knead for 10-12 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into two pieces, rolling each into circles on a floured surface.
- Spread softened butter on one circle, place the second circle on top, and cut into 12 triangles.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip to form croissants.
- Place them on a lined baking tray, brush with beaten egg, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
