Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two round cake pans and line with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about three minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients alternating with milk until just combined.
- Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled completely, frost with cream cheese frosting and drizzle raspberry sauce on top.
