- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 ounces melting chocolate (for coating)
- Flaky sea salt (for topping)
Instructions
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt the sweetened condensed milk, caramel sauce, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Remove from heat, stir in the chocolate chips until fully melted and incorporated.
- Transfer mixture to a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm.
- Once chilled, scoop and roll into small balls and chill again for 15 minutes.
- Melt the coating chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each ball in the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing on parchment paper.
- Immediately sprinkle with sea salt and drizzle extra caramel if desired.
- Let set completely before serving.
