- ¼ cup cold butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and flour until well-coated.
- Pour the apple mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- For the topping, mix flour and brown sugar in a separate bowl. Cut in the cold butter until crumbly and sprinkle over the apple filling.
- Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake for 45–50 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
