- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Easter M&Ms or candy-coated chocolate eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and half of the Easter candies gently into the dough.
- Scoop dollops of dough onto prepared baking sheets, pressing remaining candies on top for decoration.
- Bake for about 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden while centers remain soft. Cool on the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
