  • 1 box Betty Crocker French Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 box Jello Instant Vanilla or French Vanilla Pudding (3.4 oz)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 carton Cool Whip
  • Food coloring (Neon Colors by McCormick)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Divide the batter into three bowls and add food coloring (pink, purple, green) to each.
  4. Pour the colored batter into separate Ziploc bags and cut off one end.
  5. Squeeze the batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan in a swirling pattern.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Once cooled, poke holes in the cake every 1½ inches using the back of a wooden spoon.
  8. In another bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix for about five minutes until thickened.
  9. Pour the pudding mixture over the poked cake, allowing it to soak in.
  10. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with Easter decorations if desired.
