- 1 box Betty Crocker French Vanilla Cake Mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 box Jello Instant Vanilla or French Vanilla Pudding (3.4 oz)
- 3 cups milk
- 1 carton Cool Whip
- Food coloring (Neon Colors by McCormick)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Divide the batter into three bowls and add food coloring (pink, purple, green) to each.
- Pour the colored batter into separate Ziploc bags and cut off one end.
- Squeeze the batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan in a swirling pattern.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled, poke holes in the cake every 1½ inches using the back of a wooden spoon.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix for about five minutes until thickened.
- Pour the pudding mixture over the poked cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with Easter decorations if desired.
