- 7 cups Rice Krispies
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
- 3–4 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Easter egg candies (for garnish)
- Green food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Grease cupcake pans lightly with butter or cooking spray.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Microwave on high for about 2 minutes until melted, stirring until smooth.
- Mix in Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Spoon the mixture into greased cupcake pans and press down firmly using wax paper to form nests.
- Allow the nests to cool for about 30 minutes before removing them from the pans.
