- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut it into 12 strips.
- Tie each strip into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and add minced garlic; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Brush half of this mixture over the knots before baking.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush the remaining garlic butter over the baked knots and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
