Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a large bowl until about 90% melted.
- Whisk the melted butter until smooth.
- Combine brown sugar and granulated sugar; mix until creamy.
- Stir in vanilla extract and egg until fully incorporated.
- Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 7-10 minutes until puffy and slightly underbaked in the center.
