Instructions
- Microwave cream cheese until softened; set aside.
- Cut chicken breasts in half lengthwise and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F). Transfer to a plate.
- Lower heat to medium; sauté onions until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic; cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Stir in chicken broth, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes until smooth.
- Return chicken to skillet; warm through and adjust seasoning as needed.
