- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 tsp minced ginger
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 12 oz linguine noodles
- Garnish: diced green onions, toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef along with minced ginger and garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- While cooking the beef, boil salted water in a pot and cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and hoisin sauce.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the browned beef and sauté for about 3 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and add it directly to the skillet. Toss everything together and cook for an additional couple of minutes until well combined.
- Serve garnished with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
