Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Press this mixture into the pan.
- Evenly sprinkle pecans over the crust.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar, stirring until bubbly; boil for one minute.
- Pour hot caramel over the pecans and crust evenly.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until bubbly on top.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the baked bars; let them soften before spreading into an even layer.
