- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- If using fresh crab, steam for about 10 minutes until bright red, then cool and extract the meat.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, melted garlic butter, lemon juice, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet; brush with olive oil on both sides.
- Toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Top each slice with crab mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes to meld flavors.
- Garnish with paprika before serving.
