- 1 3/4 cups sweetened shredded coconut
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolk, and butter. Simmer for 8–10 minutes while whisking frequently until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, pecans, and coconut until fully combined.
- Spread the frosting evenly over cooled brownies in the baking pan using a rubber spatula.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing.
