  • 23 cups icing sugar (sifted)
  • 34 tablespoons eggnog
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Alcohol-Free)(optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, spices, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add egg, yolk, vanilla extract, and molasses; mix well.
  3. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll chilled dough into balls, coat in sugar, and place on prepared cookie sheets.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes; allow cooling on wire racks.
  6. For frosting, beat softened butter and gradually add icing sugar and eggnog until creamy.
