  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season steak with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the steak pieces for about 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in flour to create a roux; cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and beef broth until smooth. Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  5. Cook tortellini according to package instructions but slightly undercook them to prevent mushiness. Drain and toss with olive oil.
  6. In a greased baking dish, combine tortellini, seared steak, and cheese sauce; mix well. Top with mozzarella.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 20–25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
