- 4 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Optional: Sliced tomatoes
- Optional: Crispy turkey bacon
Instructions
- Slice each Hawaiian roll in half without cutting all the way through to create a pocket.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and spread unsalted butter on the insides of each roll.
- Place the roll bottoms in the skillet and fill them generously with shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Press down with the top halves.
- Grill for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, flipping carefully.
- Serve hot, sliced for maximum gooeyness.
