- 1 orange

- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions
- Prepare the fruit by peeling the orange and cutting the apples into quarters, discarding the cores.
- In a slow cooker, combine the orange segments, apple quarters, cinnamon sticks, ground cloves, and sugar. Add enough water to cover the fruit.
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for about 4 hours until the fruit is soft.
- Mash the softened fruit using a large spoon or potato masher.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pot or pitcher, discarding solids.
- Serve warm immediately or chill leftovers for later enjoyment.
