- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips and dice the green bell pepper and onion.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook until browned (6-7 minutes).
- Add bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms; sauté until tender (about 5 minutes).
- Layer provolone cheese on top; reduce heat to low and cover until melted (about 2 minutes).
- Spoon the mixture into hoagie rolls and serve with your favorite sides.
