- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the chicken until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet. In the same pan, sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and chopped basil; stir until combined.
- Add shredded mozzarella to the sauce mixture until melted.
- Return the chicken to the baking dish, pour over the basil cream sauce, and bake for about 25 minutes or until bubbly.
