  • 1 cup frozen corn

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell peppers, minced garlic, diced tomatoes (with juice), kidney beans, corn, and taco seasoning to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover until melted.
