- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 24 ladyfinger cookies
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, toss sliced strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar and set aside to release their juices.
- 2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form. Add mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, and the remaining sugar; mix until fluffy.
- 3. In a 9×13 inch dish, layer half of the ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top, followed by half of the sugared strawberries.
- 4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and strawberries for an eye-catching topping.
- 5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
- 6. Slice and serve chilled.
