  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by mixing warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, olive oil, basil, oregano, and garlic powder until combined.
  3. Knead the dough by hand or with a stand mixer for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  5. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, place it in a greased pan, and top with cheeses.
  6. Cover and rise again for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
