  • 170 grams sliced Genoa salami
  • 170 grams sliced ham or prosciutto
  • 200 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 50 grams grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: thinly sliced green bell pepper and red onion

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; let it froth for 5–10 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and olive oil; mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (60–90 minutes).
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Layer meats, cheeses, and optional veggies evenly.
  6. Roll tightly from one edge to form a log; seal edges well.
  7. Place seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and cut slits on top.
  8. Bake at 200°C for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before slicing; serve with marinara sauce.
