Instructions
- Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice into uniform pieces.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
- In a small bowl, mix miso paste and soy sauce with warm water to create a sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the mushrooms and stir to coat evenly; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding chili flakes if desired.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving warm.
