Ingredients

  • 1 medium yellow onion (quartered)
  • 1 cup fresh parsley (washed and patted dry)
  • 600 grams lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon seven spice blend
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse the quartered onion and parsley until finely chopped.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion and parsley mixture, salt, black pepper, seven spice blend, and cayenne. Mix thoroughly by hand.
  3. Mold the mixture around skewers to form kebabs about an inch thick.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the kebabs for approximately 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
